Eng. Gaston Vedasto Mujwahuzi
General Manager
Gaston, with a BSc in Mineral Processing Engineering and an MBA in Finance, has over 20 years of experience in the mining sector. He started as a metallurgist and has held significant roles, including Plant Manager at Buckreef Gold Mine. Promoted to General Manager in 2022, Gaston excels in management, risk assessment, and finance.
Isaka Jacob Bisansaba
Technical Service Manager
Isaka, with a BSc in Geology and a Master’s in Mining Engineering, brings over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining. He oversees mine planning, geology, and surveys at BGC. His past roles include Principal Consultant at MIM Resources and positions at Ok Tedi Mining Ltd, with expertise spanning various global mining operations.
Vincent Andrew Mshana
Finance Manager
Vincent, an accountant with a BCom and an MBA, manages finance and supply chain at BGC. With over nine years in the mining sector, he has held roles at Barrick Mining and African Barrick Gold. Vincent is known for his leadership in finance management, communication, and IT services optimization.
Eng. Festo Ibrahim Shayo
Plant Manager
Festo is a metallurgist with more than 18 years of experience in gold processing. Joining BGC in 2023, he excels in cost control, production planning, and process development. He has led teams at North Mara, Buzwagi, Tulawaka, and Bulyanhulu Gold Mines, significantly improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Eng. Saburi Mikidadi Msuna
Project Manager
Saburi, a registered Professional Engineer with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Management, joined BGC in 2023. He brings extensive expertise in project management, mechanical design, and plant maintenance from roles at Williamson Diamonds Ltd and other companies since 2001.
Andrew John
HSE & Security Manager
Andrew, an HSE professional with extensive experience across mining, oil & gas, and power transmission, joined BGC in 2023. He has managed HSE operations for major companies, including Barrick and Tiger Resources, maintaining high safety standards. His expertise includes risk assessment and community engagement.
Amelda Paul Msuya
Human Resource Manager
Amelda, with over 13 years in HR, including 9 years in mining, has been with BGC since 2020. She manages HR, administration, and CSR projects, having been promoted to HR & Sustainability Manager in 2023. Amelda holds an MBA in HR Management and a Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management.
